Shoe discount!
It's good that the father is pimping his daughter out to a mall salesman.

OH MY GOD. That was insane! Can't we have a nice wholesome comic about shooting up heroin or something instead? I can't believe I just read a comic about SHOES.

Why does Robert say "can" so weird? "C'n I go, too, Dad?"
How the hell would you say "can" the way he does?
And Suzy better stop being a bitch, or she's not getting those goddamn shoes.

"They could satisfy her highness tonight" Whoa, John, I know I was calling her a bitch before, but, geez, this is her junior prom we're talking about! Those still matter today, so of course she needed a good pair of shoes! Don't be a dick.
"I don't think your mother has to worry about 'growing room', Robert." Damn, Grandpa's a dick too! Now I see where John gets it from! Have a little tact, Pops, or she may soon be pissing in that coffee you love so much!

Oh my god, I just realized something.
The shoes-salesman reminds me of Norman Bates.
He totally has taxidermied animals (and people wearing Thom McAn shoes) in his room.
Do not dance with him Suzy.

Robert's pretty cute, though.
Can I get his number?
I mean the family's number?
Dirty-talking must've been hard to do back then.

Problem number one: This is a 16-page shoe ad.
Problem number two: Is that Vladimir Lenin on page 9??
