COMICS WITH PROBLEMS #47- Supplement Item: "Selling GRIT in 1959 and in 1977"
Bit of a fun item here. We were compiling comics related to newspapers for Issue #47 when we picked up what we was assumed to be two issues of the same comic (normally it's a good practice to acquire a copy to scan and another to preserve untouched) A funny surprse when a copy of YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE GRIT arrived with 1959 artwork, and then another arrived with 1977 artwork. And even more amusing when you overlay the two and compare them. So that's what we've decided to do here. You gotta have Grit!

Notes: Very interesting single edit on page. 1977 version edits "Getting a good beginning was easy" to merely "Getting a beginning was easy" - suggestion being earlier pitch of success might have been deceptive and untrue.
