The title to this is not true.
Security is a Doberman.

I thought Security was a Tampon.

OTIS REDDING
Security

I want security, yeah
Without it I had a great loss, oh now
Security, yeah
And I want it at any cost, oh now

Don't want no money, right muh now, muh now, muh now
I don't want no fame
But security I have all of these things, yeah
All of these things, yeah, now
Security, yeah
That's all I want from you, oh now
Security, yeah
And a little love that will be true, oh

Those sweet tender lips you know they tells me that
You're the one for me
Darling, how can I forget
How can I forget, yeah now

I want security, yeah
I'm telling you, once say again, oh now
Security
And I want it in the end, oh

Those sweet tender lips you know they tells me that
You're the one for me
Darling, how can I forget
How can I forget, yeah now

Alone with just a little bit of soul, right now, now, baby
Darling, everything is gonna be allright
One more time, just one more time, baby...

BANG

Can you say "Soviet Mind Trick"? Look at charlie brown with that sheet of Es. Looks like a bad james bond villan.

I'm wearing this eye patch so you can test me for WHAT?"

man how funny would it have been if charlie then said "for chlamydia".

Didn't Linus originally have the eyepatch 'for amblyopia' in the real Peanuts strips? Or am I imagining things?

Actually this was done also as a regular peanuts newspaper strip. At least i think so (Schultz probably didn't have time to make two comics at once?)....... the only evidence i can offer in this regard is that I completely recognise every frame of these strips from some old as the hills peanuts collections paperbacks that my parents have had since.... heck, as far as i know, since the original publication dates in the 60s and 70s, they've been in the house (and dog eared, and yellowed) since i can remember, before i was even at school. No indication in the books that these were anything other than regular comics and they seemed to fit in with the other strips just fine. It could be a remarkably grown up / intelligent affair at times (and of course entirely childish at others)

Yes, it was Sally, I still have the book collection with this series somewhere around the house.

I remember this from an old-as-the-hills book too. There was another storyline where Linus got glasses.

You TEACH them, Sally! Though wouldn't all the violence cause more eye problems? ... Waaait... Maybe the U. S. Dept. of H. E. W. WANTS more injuries!

AAAUGH!

"I'm not illiterate! I'm just as good as anyone! I was born in this country!"
Jesus, Sally, not everything is about immigrants, you fucking xenophobe.
